Linda Griffiths
The folk singer Linda Griffiths takes a look back to the past with Heledd Cynwal this week. She recalls her days singing with Plethyn, one of Wales' best known folk groups and reveals the musical influence of the "plygain" tradition on their music.
The late Rev Elfed Lewys had a huge influence on her singing career and watching archive footage of him from the 80s proves an emotional experience for Linda. The programme also takes a behind-the-scenes look at the day Welsh artistes came together to film the video "Dwylo dros y Môr and recalls a memorable evening in Corwen in 1976.
